Customize Web Rules
Web rules are global settings.
To customize web rules:
Field Descriptions
| Required | Field | Description |
| * | CGI-BIN Directory | Enter the path of the web server CGI-BIN directory. |
| * | CGI-BIN Admin Directory Suffix | Enter suffix for administrative path for Oracle DAD. This is used when Oracle FGAC is being used in Self Service |
| * | Web Timeout in minutes | Enter the number of minutes of inactivity allowed before the user has to login again. |
| * | Max Number of Login Attempts | Enter the maximum number of incorrect logins allowed before the user's web account is disabled. |
| PIN Expiration | Enter the number of days after a PIN is created until it expires. | |
| * | Date Display Format Mask | Enter the date display format mask you would like to use. Format masks are used to convert Oracle values to character strings that can be printed. For example, the date display format mask MM/DD/YY prints 08/13/98. The date display format mask Mon DD, YYYY prints Aug 13, 1998. |
| * | Date Input Format Mask | Select the format that must be used to enter dates as text. For example, if you select MM/DD/YYYY, you would enter 08/13/1998. |
| * | Time Format Mask | Enter the time format that you would like to use. Format masks are Used to convert Oracle values to character strings that can be printed. The time format mask HH:MI:SS prints 08:30:59 |
| Display Usage Page | Check this box to display Acceptable Usage page when first logging in. | |
| Display Descriptive Names | Check this box to display the information entered in the Description field in the WebTailor drop-down lists. | |
| Enable Web Page Caching | Check this box to allow regular caching of pages in the client browser session. Leave this box empty to print no-cache directives in each web page, to disable caching in most browser applications. Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.x does not recognize this setting, and will always cache web pages. | |
| Use HTTP Redirection after Login | Check this box to use HTTP redirection to forward the user to the first menu after login. If this box is left unchecked, redirection will be achieved by using a META HTML tag with an immediate refresh setting. | |
| Error Graphic | Select the graphic you would like displayed for errors. | |
| Warning Graphic | Select the graphic you would like displayed for warnings. | |
| Exit Graphic | Select the graphic you would like displayed for exiting. | |
| * | Start Page | Select the page users should go to after logging in. This will be viewed if no return location is set. |
| Start Page is a Dynamic Menu | Check this box if the Start Page is a menu dynamically generated by WebTailor. | |
| Java Classpath | Enter the path for Java class files. |
